El Observatorio de Universidades (OBU) de Venezuela denunció este sábado que el salario máximo de un profesor universitario es de 11 dólares por mes y el salario mínimo es de alrededor siete dólares.
“El salario máximo va en algunos países desde dos mil dólares hasta siete mil dólares en Chile, en Venezuela es de 11 dólares”, refirió la organización en su cuenta de Twitter.
Asimismo, el OBU indicó que el salario mínimo de los profesores universitarios en países como Panamá, Ecuador y Costa Rica supera los mil dólares por mes, mientras en Venezuela es de alrededor siete dólares.
Añadió que en la nación caribeña la “precaria situación salarial” de los profesores universitarios se “agudiza”, porque el “salario mínimo de un profesor no supera los 0,25 dólares por día”.
“Los estándares internacionales de la ONU y la Línea Internacional de Pobreza, indican que quienes ganen menos de 1,9 dólares diarios se encuentran en una situación de pobreza extrema”, advirtió.
El Observatorio Venezolano de Finanzas (OVF), entidad independiente que agrupa a varios analistas económicos, informó el pasado 8 de noviembre que, en octubre, la canasta de alimentos de divisas alcanzó su máximo histórico de 343,75 dólares para una familia de cinco personas, con una variación del 12,77 % con respecto al mes anterior, cuando se ubicó en 304,83 dólares.
“Así, el acceso a la canasta alimentaria según el sueldo mínimo fue del 0,69 %, mientras el salario mínimo se mantuvo en 7 bolívares (1,5 dólares)”, apostilló.
La inflación de octubre pasado, de acuerdo al OVF, se ubicó en 8,1 %, la interanual se ubicó en 1.258 % y la acumulada en 576,3 %.
