El presidente de Perú, Pedro Castillo, pidió este sábado que se active la Carta Democrática de la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), después de que medios locales publicaran que una empresaria lo ha comprometido en las actividades de una presunta organización criminal enquistada en el Ejecutivo peruano.
«Yo llamo al pueblo peruano y a la comunidad internacional para que de una vez por todas activemos la Carta Democrática (de la OEA) para darle tranquilidad al pueblo peruano. Tenemos que ser respetuosos de la democracia, del mandato de este pueblo», enfatizó Castillo durante una actividad oficial en la ciudad amazónica de Puerto Maldonado.
Castillo anticipó que en los próximos días «va a haber ruidos políticos» en su país y confirmó que se enteró por «las redes sociales que hay un acta» con la declaración que dio la empresaria Karelim López para solicitar acogerse a la «colaboración eficaz» (delación premiada) ante la Fiscalía.
Al respecto, el gobernante dijo que un «grupo de poder económico» no quiere que su Gobierno atienda al pueblo y «ha convencido a una persona de declararse colaboradora eficaz con millones de soles y mañana van a llenar las páginas para de una vez por todas demandar una suspensión, dar una vacancia» a su Gobierno.
A pesar de ello, Castillo hizo un llamamiento a la tranquilidad y manifestó su confianza de que el pleno del Congreso, que domina la oposición, dará el próximo 8 de marzo un voto favorable al gabinete de ministros que preside el jurista Aníbal Torres.
Remarcó, en ese sentido, que «hay un grupo minúsculo en este país que no concibe haber sido derrotado por este pueblo emergente, no conciben que un campesino, un obrero, esté en Palacio» de Gobierno.
Declaración de empresaria
Medios locales publicaron este sábado que López, quien es investigada por su presunta participación en delitos de corrupción por la Fiscalía, comprometió a Castillo en las actividades de una supuesta organización criminal enquistada en el Ejecutivo peruano.
Diarios como La República y El Comercio señalaron que han revisado documentos que prueban que López solicitó acogerse a la «colaboración eficaz» (delación premiada) para brindar información a la Fiscalía a cambio de obtener beneficios judiciales.
Esta información aún no ha sido confirmada por fuentes oficiales o judiciales peruanas, ni por el abogado de López, César Nakasaki.
López, quien es señalada como una gestora de intereses con vínculos con las altas esferas de poder en los últimos años en Perú, supuestamente relató eventos que ocurrieron en el Palacio de Gobierno y en una casa del distrito limeño de Breña en la que Castillo residió y realizó reuniones durante los primeros meses de su mandato, que comenzó el 28 de julio pasado.
El Comercio añadió que la empresaria vinculó a personajes cercanos o que han sido relacionados con el mandatario, entre ellos los ministros de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Silva, y de Vivienda, Geiner Alvarado, y el exsecretario de la presidencia Bruno Pacheco, además de empresarios y sobrinos del gobernante.
«Pero lo más relevante de la declaración es que afirma que el presidente Pedro Castillo es parte de una mafia que opera en el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones direccionando licitaciones del sector», remarcó.
El objetivo de la presunta organización, agregó La República, es obtener dinero de licitaciones de obras públicas, nombramientos en las direcciones de Salud del país, ascensos en las Fuerzas Armadas y reclamos tributarios para usarlo para pagar las deudas contraídas durante la campaña electoral del año pasado, en la que Castillo derrotó a la derechista Keiko Fujimori.
Acusación a la prensa
Tras esas publicaciones, que también fueron difundidas por otros medios y periodistas, el gobernante acusó en Twitter a «la prensa monopólica» de haber lanzado «una serie de especulaciones que tienen como objetivo atentar contra la democracia» y añadió que «los mismos que conspiraron contra los anteriores mandatarios, quieren hacerlo ahora contra el Gobierno del pueblo».
Agregó que López «ha brindado a la Fiscalía declaraciones sin sustento jurídico ni coherencia con la verdad que amenazan la ética y la transparencia de los procedimientos de toda investigación».
«Denuncio anticipadamente este tipo de acciones que solo insisten en maniobras políticas antidemocráticas con la finalidad de generar inestabilidad en el país», enfatizó el mandatario.
Reiteró, por ese motivo, su llamado «a la comunidad internacional y al pueblo peruano para activar la Carta Democrática Interamericana y permanecer atentos contra cualquier intento desestabilizador y de golpe en el país, perpetrado por quienes aún no aceptan su derrota y atentan contra la ciudadanía».
