El Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) solicitó este lunes la habilitación de todos los partidos y dirigentes políticos suspendidos, para poder participar en las elecciones regionales y locales del próximo 21 de noviembre, tras no poder hacerlo en los comicios legislativos del pasado diciembre.
La petición la hizo la vicepresidenta nacional de la organización, María Verdeal, con el objetivo de que “se pueda fortalecer el sistema de partidos políticos dejando participar el mayor número de organizaciones que están en el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE)”.
En su opinión, las inhabilitaciones, que afectan fundamentalmente a opositores, supondrían mayor participación del electorado, al que invitó a acudir a los puntos de inscripción que el CNE ha establecido por todo el país, para que los venezolanos que votan por primera vez puedan inscribirse, y los que repiten comprueben y actualicen sus datos en caso necesario.
Arranca el Registro Electoral en junio
Las jornadas de actualización e inscripción comenzaron este 1 de junio y hasta una fecha cercana a las elecciones, todavía sin definir, en todos los estados en los lugares habilitados por el CNE con esta finalidad.
“A partir de mañana (hoy) estará dispuesta la distribución de puntos de actualización e inscripción del CNE en todo el país; llamamos a acudir juntos, tanto los nuevos votantes que van a cumplir 18 años antes del 21 de noviembre, como quienes se han mudado, quienes viven en otro domicilio y todavía no pueden votar en donde viven porque pertenecen a otros centros de votación”, insistió Verdeal.
