Con motivo de la culminación del año escolar 2020-2021 la vicepresidenta Delcy Rodríguez anunció la creación del Sistema de Pasaje Estudiantil, el cual funcionará como una forma de pago electrónico que solo usará la huella dactilar o un código QR.
La funcionaria informó que a partir del 16 de agosto comienza el Registro Nacional Estudiantil a través del Sistema Patria, en el que los niños y jóvenes podrán acudir acompañados de sus representantes para formalizar este registro tengan cédula laminada o no posean aún el documento.
El Sistema de Pasaje Estudiantil funcionará gracias a la colaboración de diversos entes como el ministerio de Educación, Fontur y el ministerio de Transporte Terrestre, que junto a la plataforma Patria coordinarán la operatividad del mismo.
Adicionalmente, Rodríguez anunció la aprobación de 14 millones de euros para la inauguración de 19 planteles, así como la implementación del plan “Una gota de amor para mi escuela” con el cual se van a remozar 500 escuelas en todo el país.
Como punto adicional, la representantes del Ejecutivo destacó la creación de la Escuela de Idiomas, en la que se podrá estudiar inglés, mandarín y ruso con clases a distancia y presenciales.
Destacó finalmente que todas estas ideas surgieron del debate y las propuestas concentradas en el Congreso Bicentenario de Estudiantes de Educación Media, que se dio en el marco del Congreso Bicentenario de los Pueblos.
