El presidente del Ifedec, Eduardo Fernández, viajó a Maracaibo para reunirse con el gobernador del estado Zulia, Manuel Rosales, y le manifestó la urgencia de actuar con desprendimiento para lograr el cambio.
«He venido a Maracaibo a conversar con el gobernador del Zulia preocupado por Venezuela y los venezolanos. Estamos en horas cruciales. Solo faltan 139 días para la elección presidencial, No podemos desaprovechar esta oportunidad de cambiar el gobierno y abrirle a Venezuela las puertas de la recuperación económica», expresó, según reseña de Contrapunto.
Detalló que pidió a Rosales, presidente de Un Nuevo Tiempo «que haga todos los esfuerzos que estén a su alcance para que no se fracture más la Unidad de las fuerzas que queremos un cambio» y advirtió «no podemos permitir que esta tragedia que están sufriendo las familias venezolanas se prolongue por 6 años más».
Fernández remarcó que superar la crisis económica y social que hay en el país pasa por lograr un cambio de Gobierno: «Ese cambio solo va a ser posible si construimos un gran movimiento de Unidad Nacional».
Frente a la pregunta de si María Corina no debía formar parte de ese esfuerzo unitario, contestó: “Por supuesto. El liderazgo de Maria Corina puede y debe jugar un papel fundamental en este esfuerzo por construir una gran fuerza de cambio. Este esfuerzo requiere del concurso de todos”.
«Necesitamos la unidad de todos los factores que queremos un cambio para poder ganar y después necesitamos un gran movimiento de Unidad Nacional para que haya gobernabilidad y poder resolver los problemas de los venezolanos», destó.
En este sentido, resaltó que el objetivo final tiene que ser la gente, las familias.
«Todo tiene que estar al servicio de la felicidad de la familia venezolana. De lo que hagamos ahora depende el futuro de cada uno de los venezolanos, de nuestros hijos y de los hijos de nuestros hijos», concluyó.
