Dos sismos de magnitud 4,8 y 4,0 sacudieron este viernes la céntrica región de Ica y la sureña de Arequipa, en Perú, sin que de momento se reporten daños personales ni materiales, según informó el Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP).
El primer temblor, que alcanzó una magnitud de 4,8, se originó a las 06.38 hora local (11.30 GMT) y el epicentro se localizó 81 kilómetros al oeste de la ciudad de Pisco, en el departamento de Ica, unos 230 kilómetros al sur de Lima.
Luego, a las 07.50 horas (12.50 GMT), se registró un segundo movimiento telúrico, de magnitud 4,0, 33 kilómetros al suroeste de la localidad de Chala, en el sureño departamento de Arequipa.
De momento, las autoridades locales de ambas regiones no han reportado daños materiales ni víctimas por estos fenómenos.
