Antes, Disney+ estrenará por el mismo precio «Cruella», el 28 de mayo, y «Black Widow», el 9 de julio.

La noticia acarrea su polémica, ya que el estudio adoptó esta estrategia para estrenar títulos durante los meses duros de la pandemia, con el objetivo de volver a los cines en cuanto se levantaran las restricciones.
Sin embargo, parece que a partir de agosto volverá a respetar la exclusividad de las salas, ya que el estudio lanzará de manera tradicional «Free Guy», el 13 agosto, y la próxima entrega de Marvel, «Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings», el 7 de septiembre.
