Emocionados y sonrientes se mostraron las niñas y niños del Centro de Educación Inicial (CEI), Ana Rodríguez de Pérez, ubicado en el sector Corazón de Jesús de El Manzanillo, parroquia Francisco Ochoa, quienes este lunes 1 de noviembre, recibieron de manos del alcalde de la Ciudad de San Francisco, Dirwings Arrieta sus kits y uniformes escolares.
En total 188 combos escolares, contentivos de cuadernos, block de dibujos, lápices, creyones, sacapuntas, borradores, pegamento, tijera, monos y franelas, fueron parte de la ayuda entregada por Arrieta a estos pequeños de entre 2 y 5 años, durante la inauguración de los trabajos de rehabilitación de este plantel educativo, intervenido gracias al “Plan Nacional Una Gotita de Amor para mi Escuela”.
En esta inauguración del CEI Ana Rodríguez de Pérez, el Alcalde de San Francisco, destacó que, a “pesar de haber iniciado las actividades presenciales este programa social de atención, no se ha detenido y sigue sumando espacios para dignificar la educación de los niños y niñas de la patria”.
“El plan Una Gotita de Amor para mi Escuela, no solo viene a recuperar la infraestructura física de las escuelas, sino a ser copartícipe a la sociedad de esta transformación en la cual se involucra al Poder Popular, actores políticos y Gobierno de San Francisco”, señaló.
La primera autoridad municipal detalló que a este plantel educativo se le restableció todo el sistema eléctrico, se sustituyeron las luminarias por bombillos lead, se pintaron todas las áreas y se recuperó todo el parque infantil, además de realizarse jornadas especiales de limpieza y desinfección así como la dotación y acondicionamiento de la cocina.
“Esta institución es la sexta escuela que entregamos recuperada en su totalidad, en menos de un mes, de las 60 intervenidas en esta primera etapa, donde además le garantizaremos a los pequeños sus kits escolares para que cada niños no solo regresen a clases con una infraestructura en óptimas condiciones, sino que cuente con todo lo necesario para seguir preparándose”, expresó el Alcalde.
Yolitza Rodríguez, docente de este plantel, agradeció al alcalde Dirwings Arrieta por llevar “Una Gotita de Amor” a este preescolar. “Tenemos 33 años de fundado y hacía mucho tiempo que no veíamos la escuela tan hermosa. Estamos contentos y con los brazos abiertos para seguir educando. Estas labores solo podemos pagarlas con trabajo, agradecidos estaremos siempre con usted Alcalde”, dijo.
