El diputado opositor del Parlamento José Gregorio Correa solicitó este lunes al Ejecutivo que se incrementen y se ajusten trimestralmente las pensiones que cobran los trabajadores públicos jubilados, de manera proporcional a la inflación.
“Las pensiones deben ser ajustadas e incrementadas trimestralmente. De acuerdo con las cifras de inflación para un mejor vivir de nuestros jóvenes (adultos mayores) de tercera y cuarta edad”, indicó el parlamentario.
Correa recordó que se trata de personas “que dieron sus mejores años y no reciben la remuneración adecuada”. Que merecen envejecer “con dignidad y respeto”.
Aseguró que, desde el Parlamento, trabajará para que los pensionados y jubilados “tengan las reivindicaciones que merecen”.
En días pasados, el diputado pidió a sus colegas de la Asamblea Nacional (AN) pensar en este grupo como una de las prioridades para la agenda legislativa del año que apenas inicia, según detalla EFE.
“Tenemos que tener un nuevo año donde los jubilados también sean prioridad. Que tenga la obligación el Estado de atender a cada uno de esos venezolanos que prestó sus servicios para hacer, durante muchos años, de la administración pública lo que es”, agregó el diputado en esa ocasión.
Correa pidió también que el presupuesto aprobado para el 2022, que asciende a más de 13 mil 457 millones de dólares, contemple mejoras para los jubilados del país. Entre ellas una prestación que les permita “vivir con dignidad”.
