Juan José García Duque, un venezolano de 42 años que se hacía pasar como médico cirujano y que causó lesiones a 25 pacientes, y que además todo indica que era narcomenudista, fue detenido.
Duque, quien es residente en México, aseguraba haber egresado de la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Ejercía como Médico Estético con Especialidad en Reconstrucción Facial y Corporal para Health&Medic, empresa con sedes en Ciudad de México y Guadalajara, capital del estado de Jalisco.
Fuentes ministeriales señalaron que el extranjero captaba a sus víctimas a través de redes sociales y les ofrecía descuentos en tratamientos estéticos.
Las autoridades indagaron que durante los procedimientos en vez de que Duque les inyectara ácido hialurónico a sus pacientes, les administraba polímeros algo que junto a otras negligencias ocasionaban daños a la salud en las víctimas, quienes intentaban contactarlo pero ya no respondía las llamadas o incluso presumía tener abogados que lo ayudarían a evadir la justicia.
En Ciudad de México, tres hombres y tres mujeres lo denunciaron ante las autoridades por lesiones en cuerpo y rostro.

Con estos datos se integró una carpeta de investigación y un agente del Ministerio Público solicitó a un juez de control una orden de cateo en dos domicilios de la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.
En la calle Pachuca, de la colonia Condesa, los agentes lo detuvieron junto a otro hombre de 38 años, también venezolano.
En ese inmueble los policías ubicaron un arma de fuego corta con cuatro cartuchos útiles, 40 envoltorios con marihuana, 75 dosis de cocaína, frascos con posibles precursores químicos, un teléfono celular y documentos.
En el segundo domicilio, en la calle Ámsterdam, colonia Hipódromo Condesa, las autoridades también hallaron estupefacientes como un paquete con marihuana.
“Cabe señalar que, de acuerdo con las investigaciones, el detenido de 42 años de edad se identificaba como médico cirujano, especialista en tratamientos estéticos, para lo que utilizaba documentación aparentemente apócrifa; además, derivado de un cruce de información, se pudo conocer que cuenta con carpetas de investigación por usurpación de profesión, lesiones y fraude en los estados de Baja California, Jalisco y Quintana Roo“, detalló la Fiscalía en un comunicado.
El falso médico fue presentado ante un agente del Ministerio Público, donde rendirá su declaración. Los inmuebles cateados se mantienen a resguardo de las autoridades.
