Las autoridades colombianas detuvieron a una mujer por el asesinato y desmembramiento de una venezolana embarazada, y el robo del bebé, informó la Policía Nacional de Cali.
Mariluz Mosquera, colombiana de 49 años de edad, fue detenida por la policía en el sector El Bosque, en el norte de Cali, luego de que dieran con su paradero para hacer efectiva la orden de captura en su contra por los delitos de homicidio y secuestro agravado.
Se le acusa de planear y ejecutar el asesinato de Yulexi del Valle Valecillos, de 28 años de edad, con el objeto de robar el bebé para hacerlo pasar por su hijo y reclamar ayuda monetaria a los familiares de su esposo fallecido.
El asesinato de Valecillos ocurrió el 8 de septiembre de 2020 en Valle del Cauca, Colombia, refieren medios colombianos.
Según las evidencias y el material recolectado por los investigadores de la Fiscalía, la víctima fue citada a una vivienda en Villa Carmelo, en la zona rural del municipio de Candelaria, por una mujer que supuestamente le iba a regalar ropa para el bebé.
Cuando la venezolana entró al lugar, al parecer fue atacada con un arma cortopunzante por Luis Felipe Victoria Arenas, de 21 años de edad, quien le causó la muerte para robarle el bebé, y luego procedió a descuartizarla con la ayuda de Mosquera.
El hombre habría ocultado los restos de la mujer en bolsas plásticas y luego los habría arrojado a un lago en la vía San Joaquín de El Carmelo.
Mosquera pretendía presentar al bebé robado como si fuera suyo. Esto porque durante meses fingió estar embarazada frente a los familiares de su esposo fallecido, quienes la ayudaban económicamente.
Tras el asesinato, Mosquera fue a un centro médico de Candelaria fingiendo que había dado a luz. El personal médico realizó una revisión y determinó que no había señales de trabajo de parto, por lo cual reportó los hechos a las autoridades. La policía la capturó en ese momento por los delitos de alteración o supresión del estado civil. Sin embargo, fue puesta en libertad por falta de pruebas.
No obstante, las autoridades fueron a la vivienda de la mujer. Encontraron prendas de la venezolana y otros materiales probatorios. Allí determinaron su responsabilidad en el crimen.
La colombiana procedería entonces a huir y a mudarse cada cinco días de domicilio.
Detención
Cinco meses después, el 15 de febrero de 2021, la policía halló los restos de Valecillos e informó a los familiares.
Tres días después, Luis Felipe Victoria Arenas fue capturado en la entrada de una vivienda en Cali. El hombre se escondía en esa localidad desde noviembre de 2020.
Luego de más de un mes, el 24 de marzo, las autoridades procedieron a la aprehensión de Mosquera. El caso trascendió esta semana.
