Destruyen pista de aterrizaje clandestina en Jesús María Semprún

Al menos 13 pistas no autorizadas empleadas para el tráfico de drogas fueron localizadas y posteriormente destruidas por miembros de La Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana, en el marco del Ejercicio de Acción Conjunta e Integral «Escudo Bolivariano».

Esta última pista no autorizada fue inutilizada por efectivos militares adscritos al destacamento de Comando Rurales 119 de La Guardia Nacional Bolivariana en el municipio Jesús María Semprún, en El Sur del Lago.

Fermin Ulisse, Comandante de la Zona 11 Zulia, declaró que la pista no autorizada número 13 posee una longitud de dos mil 400 metros de largo por 30 metros de ancho, la cual estaba en preparación para el arribo y despegue de aeronaves.

En el sitio se localizó un vehículo tipo maquinaria pesada, marca Jhon Dere, modelo Excavadora (Jumbo), que durante las labores de búsqueda, escudriñamiento y el seguimiento de las huellas grabadas en la superficie  de la pista no autorizada, fue utilizada para habilitar y preparar la misma, siendo inutilizada y posteriormente  incinerada en el sitio debido a los inhóspito de la zona.
