El Gobierno Bolivariano comprometido con la atención integral a las familias de Mara realizó un nuevo despliegue alimentario.
La actividad, efectuada este martes 24 de agosto, fue encabezada el alcalde Luis Caldera en la sede de la Dirección de Políticas Alimentarias del Gobierno local, ubicada en la parroquia Tamare.
«Iniciamos este nuevo despliegue de los Comités Locales de Abastecimiento y Producción (CLAP) que atenderá a 29 mil 331 familias, gracias a la organización popular que ha permitido el alcance en las comunidades indígenas», expresó Caldera
Destacó que la entrega permitirá cumplir el cronograma alimentario en las comunidades que forman parte de las bases de misiones y sus segmentos censales:
«Vamos a ir casa a casa a llevar 350 toneladas de alimentos en 130 comunidades indígenas. Con el apoyo de la Milicia Nacional y el pueblo garantizamos la seguridad y la soberanía alimentaria».
De igual forma se conoció que a través del Plan de Pesca Municipal se están arrimando más de 120 toneladas de proteína que se incorporan a a la feria del pescado a partir de esta semana, gracias al trabajo de 983 pescadores y pescadoras en 22 puertos privados.
Entrega casa a casa
Noraima Amaya, jefa de comunidad de Los Lechosos II, destacó la participación de 14 jefes de calle para la entrega casa a casa del Clap.
«Nos sentimos complacidos de llevarle los alimentos a nuestras familia; en este caso 255 familias de nuestra comunidad reciben estos productos a precio justo».
