El Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas, Penales y Criminalísticas (Cicpc) desarticuló una red de pornografía y detuvo a seis personas vinculadas con este hecho, informó este lunes el director del ente policial, Douglas Rico.
De acuerdo con la información, el grupo, que se hacía llamar «Los Seductores» y estaba integrado por cuatro hombres y dos mujeres, fue detenido en el municipio Libertador, la capital del estado de Mérida, donde tenía su centro de operaciones.
Las investigaciones determinaron que estas seis personas «realizaban diversas grabaciones y fotografías con contenido sexual» en un apartamento que habían alquilado en la capital merideña, «con la finalidad de lucrarse» con la venta del material audiovisual.
«Durante la aprehensión, les fueron incautados una computadora y un documento de alquiler del inmueble, por lo que fueron puestos a la orden de la Fiscalía de Flagrancia del Ministerio Público del estado (de) Mérida», dijo Rico en un mensaje publicado en Instagram, sin ofrecer más detalles del caso.
La Ley Orgánica Contra la Delincuencia Organizada y Financiamiento al Terrorismo de Venezuela tipifica como un crimen la pornografía en este país y establece penas de entre 10 y 15 años por la comisión de estos delitos.
En el sexto capítulo de la herramienta legal, que trata de los delitos relativos «contra la indemnidad sexual», se establecen condenas contra la elaboración y distribución de material pornográfico.
