Verónica Ojeda, expareja de Diego Maradona y madre de Diego Fernando Maradona, y Mario Baudry, representante legal del hijo del astro del fútbol, denunciaron que el campeón del mundo no tuvo “ni la mínima atención” médica los días previos a su muerte.
“Ellos sabían que en algún momento iba a pasar esto, se les fue de las manos ahora todo. No pensaron que en ese momento se les iba a morir. Los quiero ver presos a todos”, dijo Ojeda en un documental producido por el canal Todo Noticias, en el que criticó los cuidados que recibió Maradona las semanas previas a su muerte, ocurrida el 25 de noviembre de 2020.
“Cuando lo querían ver bien, venían un día antes y le ponían sueros para que estuviera bien apto si al otro día tenía que firmar algo. Si no, lo tiraban así como estaba y lo dejaban con ‘Charly’ tomando vino”, añadió la madre de Diego Fernando Maradona.
Baudry agregó que si el astro del fútbol “hubiera estado en cualquier otra casa, hoy estaría vivo”.
“Del expediente surge que, con una mínima atención, hoy Diego estaría vivo. No tuvo ni la mínima atención, no había ningún elemento para atenderlo ni tampoco lo trataban con cariño, lo dejaban tirado en la habitación. En la causa surge que lo drogaban para que durmiera y sacárselo de encima”, explicó el representante legal de uno de los hijos de ‘Pelusa’.
En el mismo documental aparece Lucas Farias, el primer policía que entró al domicilio donde Maradona cumplía una internación domiciliaria
“No parecía una internación domiciliaria, parecía un lugar común. Me parece que una persona en una internación domiciliaria tiene más elementos, que ahí no había”, señaló.
Colin Campbell Irigoyen, un médico vecino que llegó para asistir a Maradona antes que las ambulancias, dijo que encontró al exfutbolista acostado en la cama, a un custodio haciéndole respiración boca a boca y a una enfermera haciéndole masajes cardíacos.
“Apenas ingreso les pregunto que hace cuánto que está así, acostado y sin signos vitales. Habrán pasado 10 o 15 minutos hasta que llegó la primera ambulancia con los elementos, con un desfibrilador, un botiquín, un set para vía aérea. Logramos ponerle una vía de acceso, pero por la vía aérea no pudimos acceder. El médico a cargo de la ambulancia intentó ver si tenía algún tipo de actividad eléctrica, pero tampoco tenía y seguimos con las maniobras”, precisó.
Además, Rocío Soledad Frank, la masajista de Maradona, dijo que en los últimos encuentros que tuvo le “costó entenderle” porque “hablaba raro”.
“En un momento le empieza a temblar el brazo izquierdo y me dice que tiene la presión alta. Le dice a un chico que estaba ahí que le trajera la pastilla de la presión. Se la trajo con una cerveza. Ese chico era Charly”, dijo sobre Carlos Orlando Ibáñez, acusado de ser el responsable de suministrarle alcohol y marihuana a Maradona.
Con Frank coincide el traumatólogo Diego Eyharchet, que dijo que a Maradona lo veía “más deteriorado”.
El campeón del mundo con Argentina en México 1986 falleció el 25 de noviembre en un barrio privado de las afueras de Buenos Aires y la autopsia determinó que murió como consecuencia de un “edema agudo de pulmón secundario a una insuficiencia cardíaca crónica reagudizada”.
También descubrieron en su corazón una “miocardiopatía dilatada”.
La Justicia argentina formó una junta médica que analiza si hubo una “atención médica deficiente”.
Los investigados por la Justicia argentina son el neurocirujano Leopoldo Luque, señalado como el médico de cabecera de Maradona, la psiquiatra Agustina Cosachov, el psicólogo Carlos Díaz, la médica Nancy Forlini, el coordinador de enfermeros Mariano Perroni y los enfermeros Ricardo Almirón y Dahiana Gisela Madrid.
