Un nuevo caso de xenofobia se ha hecho viral en redes sociales. En el video difundido se puede ver como la vigilante de una importante cadena de supermercados arremete verbalmente contra dos ciudadanos venezolanos en la ciudad de Bogotá.
“Esta es la señorita del Carulla de la 140 revisándonos porque se molesta cuando le digo que por qué a los demás clientes no los revisa, solamente a nosotros”, denuncian los jóvenes en la grabación.
Ante la situación la vigilante responde: “ustedes tienen su historia”, para referirse a los ciudadanos de nacionalidad venezolana. El hombre que grababa la situación le dice a la mujer: “¿Y los colombianos no tienen historia? Si son los peores de la droga”.
Mientras la funcionaria del almacén continúa revisando el carro donde los jóvenes llevan los productos, les menciona: “Bueno y si somos drogadictos, ¿Qué haces aquí?, por qué no te devuelves”.

El momento se vuelve más tenso cuando la vigilante lanza comentarios más ofensivos y les desordena el carrito a los ciudadanos, para finalmente dejarlos ir.
Luego de darse a conocer el caso, el Grupo Éxito, responsables de la cadena de supermercados, mencionó a un medio de comunicación que:
“El incidente sucedió el sábado 5 de junio; a las siguientes horas nos comunicamos con la persona, le pedimos excusas, le aclaramos lo sucedido y le explicamos que se trataba de un error de una de las vigilantes contratada por medio de un servicio tercerizado, y por supuesto no de una política de la marca. Hemos iniciado un refuerzo de nuestro programa de seguridad con amabilidad para evitar que hechos como estos se vuelvan a presentar”.
Qué vergüenza esta señora.
