Denuncian ejecución de la masacre número 81 en Colombia en este 2021

El Instituto de Estudios para el Desarrollo y Paz (Indepaz) denunció el martes la masacre número 81 en Colombia en lo que va del año 2021.

De acuerdo con información de la organización en su cuenta Instagram, tres personas fueron asesinadas en el barrio Rojas Pinilla de Maicao. Al parecer mientras departían fueron interceptados por sicarios que se movilizaban en moto y quienes les dispararon causando la muerte de dos de ellos en el lugar y de una tercera persona en el hospital de la zona, este último hombre fue identificado como José Samir Peláez Silva.

En 2020, Indepaz documentó 91 matanzas de este tipo en las cuales murieron 357 personas, entre ellas niños, indígenas, mujeres y afrocolombianos.

Según la Oficina de la Alta Comisionado de la ONU para los Derechos Humanos en su informe anual emitido en febrero pasado, ‘desde el 2018, el número de masacres se ha incrementado constantemente, siendo el 2020 el año con la cifra más alta registrada desde 2014’, refiere Prensa Latina.

El Observatorio de Conflictos, Paz y Derechos Humanos entiende por masacre el homicidio intencional y simultáneo de tres o más personas protegidas por el Derecho Internacional Humanitario y en estado de indefensión, en iguales circunstancias de tiempo, modo y lugar.

Indepaz señaló en un informe este año que las masacres se convirtieron en Colombia en parte de un sistema de control de poblaciones, territorios, riqueza y poder mediante el terror criminal.

Señaló que el periodo más brutal fue entre 1995 y 2005 ‘como parte de la estrategia de expansión paramilitar adoptada de hecho como política de Estado, de un Complejo Macrocriminal sustentado en una alianza múltiple de paramilitares, narcotraficantes, empresarios, gobernantes, agentes de la fuerza pública’.

En la fase actual, tras el Acuerdo de Paz, vuelve la escalada de masacres como método de sometimiento mediante el terror en zonas de interés para grupos armados ilegales y alianzas múltiples para disputar riquezas y poder, señaló Indepaz.

Enfatizó que en 2020 estos hechos llegaron a niveles similares a los de 2005, en especial en 40 municipios del Bajo Cauca antioqueño, norte y suroccidente del Cauca, zona del pacífico de Nariño, Putumayo y Catatumbo.

El patrón de estas masacres pos acuerdo es similar al del pasado, pero ‘en esta coyuntura lo central son las disputas por el control de negocios entre mafias, narcoparamilitares y sus aliados, empresarios y políticos incrustados en el Estado’, explicó Indepaz.
