Las autoridades colombianas abatieron en el departamento de Nariño a Anderson Perlaza Caicedo, cabecilla de un grupo de las disidencias de las FARC que operaba en el suroeste del país desde donde enviaba cocaína a México y Ecuador, informó este domingo la Policía.
Perlaza, conocido con el alias de «Borojó», murió en una operación realizada en el caserío Bajo Jagua, que hace parte del municipio de Tumaco, luego de meses de seguimientos e investigaciones, dijo la Policía en un comunicado.
El guerrillero, que formó parte de la columna móvil Daniel Aldana de las desmovilizadas FARC, tenía un amplio conocimiento de la zona, lo que le permitía movilizarse entre manglares y terrenos pantanosos para evadir a las autoridades y mover los alijos de droga.
Además, detalló la Policía, Perlaza «aprovechaba la ubicación estratégica del municipio de Tumaco para sembrar, producir y comercializar alcaloides, así como del envío de droga hacia Ecuador y México».
Alias «Borojó» controlaba las rutas de tráfico de cocaína cobrando a otras bandas «impuestos de seguridad» por cada kilo del alcaloide que los narcotraficantes pretendían enviar a Centroamérica y Estados Unidos.
Los hombres al mando de Perlaza tenían enfrentamientos con otros grupos armados ilegales de Nariño por el control territorial de las rutas de narcotráfico en esta zona del país.
Las autoridades también le atribuyen el desplazamiento forzado de unas 300 familias de varios caseríos. EFE
