Cuba superó este lunes los 80 mil casos acumulados de COVID-19 y por primera vez en casi tres meses no reportó muertes a causa de la enfermedad.
Según el parte diario del Ministerio de Salud Pública (Minsap) los 1.066 nuevos positivos notificados durante la jornada elevan el total a 80.610, mientras que el número de fallecidos se mantiene en 436. Este es el séptimo día consecutivo en que se superan los mil casos diarios.
De los nuevos contagios, detectados a partir de 21 mil 200 pruebas PCR, 1.047 fueron autóctonos y 19 importados.
El epicentro de esta tercera ola de contagios en la isla se encuentra en La Habana, que este lunes reportó 556 infecciones y una tasa de incidencia acumulada a 14 días de 343,4 casos por cada 100 mil habitantes.
