Con el torrencial aguacero caído el pasado jueves 17, el rió se llevó el lavandero de la parte posterior de la vivienda, y ahora les da miedo que en cualquier momento arrastre la vivienda con toda la familia adentro.
Así lo señala José Salas, de 62 años de edad, quien vive en la casa R36 de la calle Santo Domingo, del barrio Brisas del Terminal, parroquia Santa Rosa, al sur de Valencia.
Son tres familias, las que habitan en ese hogar compuesto por ocho adultos y cinco niños menores de edad.
Ante la situación, José Salas solicita a los organismos que les compete, una pronta reubicación en otro lugar donde no corran peligro de ser arrastrados por el río Cabriales.
Indicó que un grupo de funcionarios del Cuerpo de Bomberos Valencia, se trasladó al lugar donde se realizó una inspección y evaluación, allí constataron que el río socavó el despeñadero que da hacia el solar de la vivienda, y se llevó el lavandero.
Aunque Salas reconoce que el lugar es inestable porque pasa muy cerca el río Cabriales, dice que no tienen otro lugar hacia donde mudarse.
Mientras los días pasan, y el peligro acecha, los bomberos le manifestaron que será el próximo viernes 25 cuando le entreguen los resultados de la evaluación.
Salas se anticipa a decir, que el resultado es negativo, pues es obvio que todas las personas que habitan el humilde hogar se encuentran en situación de alto riesgo de seguir en la zona ante una nueva crecida del río.
Insiste en que las tres familias no tienen a donde ir, pero están dispuestos a que sean reubicados por el gobierno nacional, regional o municipal.
