Crecida de cinco ríos en Guárico amenaza a más de 500 familias

La crecida de cinco ríos que recorren cuatro municipios en el estado Guárico amenaza a unas 545 familias.
El aumento de caudal y el desbordamiento de los ríos Orinoco, Ipire, Unare, Portuguesa y Apure abruman a la población llanera.

Anelkis Quero, jefa del Departamento de Riesgo de Protección Civil Guárico, indicó que el sector más afectado es la población de Cabruta, municipio Juan José Rondón. Por ello, dicha jurisdicción se mantiene en alerta amarilla.

En Cabruta los niveles del río Orinoco estaban en 34,40 metros sobre el nivel del mar (msnm), de acuerdo con información de Radio Fe y Alegría.

“Esto ocasionó que 37 familias de la zona comercial de la localidad que está cerca del puerto, estén afectadas producto de la inundación ocurrida durante estos días”, indicó la vocera de Protección Civil.

Explicó que en el caso del río Apure, que limita con los municipios Esteros de Camaguán y San Jerónimo de Guayabal, se encuentra a 0,09 msnm de alcanzar su punto de desborde, según publica El Nacional.

El río Portuguesa ha afectado a 508 familias del sector Sombrerito de la parroquia Puerto Miranda del municipio Camaguán. Las comisiones mixtas realizan el monitoreo y acciones de alerta preventiva para atender la emergencia, informó Quero.

José Vásquez, gobernador de la entidad, informó que en los próximos días se estará desplegando una jornada masiva de atención integral a las familias afectadas en la población de Cabruta por la crecida del río Orinoco, principalmente, pero seguirán las otras zonas anegadas.
