Ayer 7 de junio en la noche, Rojas estaba en una esquina del barrio 28 de diciembre desde donde avistó a los patrulleros del Cuerpo de Policía Bolivariana del estado Zulia (Cpbez), a quienes evadir, sin embargo, la acción frustrada por la rápida respuesta de los uniformados.
El Sistema de Información e Investigación Policial (Siipol) indicó que Rojas estaba evadido del Centro de Coordinación Policial San Francisco Oeste, donde fue detenido por el delito de hurto calificado en grado de tentativa a orden del Juzgado 5° de control. Su fuga ocurrió 2019.
El recapturado quedó bajo custodia en la sede policial de la zona a disposición de la fiscalía 46 del Ministerio Público.
