El ministerio tendrá capacidad de gestión presupuestaria, administrativa y financiera sobre este organismo de seguridad del Estado.
Este cambio coincide con el envío de un nuevo informe del Ministerio Público a la Fiscalía de la Corte Penal Internacional (CPI), que evalúa casos que podrían determinar que se cometieron delitos de lesa humanidad en Venezuela.
La CPI consideró en 2020 que existe una base razonable para “creer que en Venezuela se cometieron crímenes que competen a la Corte”, según reseña El Nacional.
