La presidenta de la Comisión de Asuntos Laborales de Conindustria, Maryolga Girán, indicó que el mercado informal de trabajadores en Venezuela se aceleró con la pandemia, sin embargo, una de su principal causas es el dinero circulante del dólar.
Aseguró que desde la circulación del dólar el trabajo formal perdió atractivo, porque es más rentable tener un trabajo informal con más flexibilidad y ganancias rápidas.
Por su parte, la arquitecto y planificadora urbana de la Fundación Ciudad, Glennys González considera que informalidad del comercio contribuye a mitigar el deterioro urbanístico de la ciudad.
Acotó que la población venezolana necesita ingresos económicos pero la mayoría no tienen otra opción que el trabajo informal. “Estas personas están en su legítimo derecho de buscar maneras de sobrevivir”, comentó.
Señaló que una de las problemáticas son los puestos que se encuentran indiscriminadamente por cualquier sector de la ciudad que impiden el libre tránsito de los peatones.
Con respecto a los controles de regulación puntualizó que no se trata de sacar a los vendedores, sino de ofrecer alternativas, ya que están en su legítimo derecho de trabajar.
