Las autoridades mexicanas creen que el secuestro de los cuatro estadounidenses en el estado de Tamaulipas, fue fruto de una «confusión» de los criminales, y aclararon que no hay agentes de EEUU en el país.
«Se va fortaleciendo la línea de que fue una confusión, no una agresión directa, esa es la línea que tenemos ahorita como más viable y seguramente es la más correcta», dijo el fiscal general de Justicia de Tamaulipas, Irving Barrios, en una conferencia de prensa con el gabinete de seguridad del Gobierno de México, reseña EFE.
No obstante, la secretaria de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana de México, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, aseguró que no descartan ninguna línea de investigación tras el hallazgo de los estadounidenses este martes y el retorno de los dos vivos a Estados Unidos.
El FBI informó el domingo de la desaparición de los cuatro estadounidenses, secuestrados el pasado viernes tras cruzar la frontera en la ciudad fronteriza de Matamoros, en Tamaulipas, uno de los estados mexicanos más castigados por la violencia.
