El Ministerio Público (MP) informó que un agricultor identificado como Martín Gudiño Marquines, de 49 años de edad, fue condenado a 8 años y 1 mes de prisión por “tentativa de violencia sexual” contra su vecina en el municipio Pampán del estado Trujillo.
De acuerdo con el reporte del MP, la víctima de 41 años de edad fue sorprendida por el hombre cuando estaba durmiendo en su vivienda con sus hijos, reseñó El Diario.
“En la madrugada del 9 de mayo de 2022, Gudiño Marquines ingresó a una de las habitaciones y comenzó a tocarle las piernas, momento en el cual la mujer encendió la luz y comenzó a gritar para alertar a los vecinos”, detalló el MP el 14 de marzo en su sitio web.
El agresor acosaba a su vecina
Luego del incidente, la víctima, quien no fue identificada por el Ministerio Público, acudió a una sede de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana (GNB) de la zona para formalizar la denuncia contra Gudiño Marquines.
Posteriormente, una comisión policial capturó al agresor en una zona cercana al lugar del incidente. Las autoridades conocieron que el detenido acosaba a su vecina desde hace tiempo.
“Luego de labores de investigación coordinadas por el Ministerio Público, se determinó que el agresor acosaba a la víctima meses antes de lo ocurrido y le había insinuado su intención de mantener una relación amorosa con ella”, reseñó el MP.
Cargos
Una vez formalizado el arresto del agricultor, la Fiscalía 12° de Trujillo ratificó la acusación contra Gudiño Marquines por la “comisión de violencia sexual en grado de tentativa y acoso u hostigamiento”.
El Tribunal 1° de Juicio de Trujillo dictó la condena contra el agresor y permanece recluido en la sede de la GNB de la entidad.
Las penas por abuso sexual en Venezuela están establecidas en el Código Penal. En su artículo 374 contempla condenas de entre 10 a 15 años de prisión para quienes cometan abuso sexual contra una persona mayor de edad.
