Miles de colombianos se manifestaron este sábado en Madrid contra la represión y la violencia que se ha desatado en su país, a raíz de las protestas ciudadanas contra las reformas que anunció el presidente Iván Duque.
Convocados por una coordinadora de distintos grupos de colombianos residentes en Madrid, recorrieron hoy el centro de la capital con un lema predominante “SOS Colombia”, pero también con proclamas como “Colombia escucha, esta es tu lucha” o gritos contra el expresidente Álvaro Uribe.
Una gran bandera de Colombia abría la marcha, que comenzó en la céntrica Puerta de Alcalá, uno de los símbolos de Madrid y recorrió el centro de la ciudad para finalizar ante el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores.
“Estamos reivindicando la vida y los derechos humanos de los colombianos que se encuentran allí, desprotegidos realmente” declaró a Efe Natalia Peña, la coordinadora de los equipos que organizaron la manifestación, que denunció la violencia ejercida contra las protestas.
Peña, una periodista colombiana que reside en Madrid, recodó además que están saliendo “a decir no a la reforma tributaria, no a la reforma de la salud y no a la violencia policial en contra de los colombianos de a pie. Realmente estamos reivindicando una vida digna y justa”, concluyó.
Uno de los miles de jóvenes que se manifestaban hoy en Madrid, David Ocampo, también denunció la actuación de las fuerzas de seguridad en su país durante los últimos días. “A la gente no se le está respetando el derecho a manifestarse. (…) No somos criminales, la fuerza pública, los policías nos están matando”, declaró emocionado a Efe.
De la misma opinión era John Sánchez, que junto a otros compañeros sostenía una de las pancartas de la manifestación. “Que el mundo se entere de la barbarie que sucede en Colombia. (…) Están masacrando al pueblo”, dijo.
Desde que comenzaron las protestas el pasado 28 de abril contra las reformas anunciadas por el presidente colombiano, Iván Duque, al menos 27 personas murieron y hay 359 casos reportados como desapariciones que están en “proceso de verificación y ubicación”, según la Fiscalía y la Defensoría del Pueblo.
Sin embargo, organizaciones sociales como Temblores denuncian que desde el inicio de las manifestaciones hay “37 víctimas de violencia homicida presuntamente por parte de la Policía”.
Durante esta semana se han celebrado distintas protestas en otras ciudades españolas como Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia, o Murcia, así como en otras capitales del mundo como Bruselas, Washington o Nueva York y hoy, además de en España hay convocadas manifestaciones en otros países como Alemania, Francia y Perú.
