La Comisión de Laicos y Ministerio de la Conferencia Episcopal Venezolana (CEV) urgió este lunes a acelerar el plan de vacunación en el país, «lo antes posible»; y pide no descartar propuestas emanadas del sector privado que pudieran ayudar al proceso.
A través de un comunicado, la instancia católica recordó que el derecho a la vida y a la salud están consagrados no solo en las leyes venezolanas sino en pactos y convenios internacionales
«La vida humana es sagrada e inviolable (…) La llegada de las vacunas no puede supeditarse a negociaciones ni conveniencias e intereses políticos. Se trata de la vida de millones de venezolanos lo que está en juego», afirma.
Además hace un llamado a que el proceso de inmunización se efectúe de manera transparente y con vacunas aprobadas por los organismos internacionales, «y no en etapa de prueba».
