El Colegio Médicos y la Gobernación del estado Zulia acordaron una nueva jornada de vacunación dirigida a los galenos de la región que aún no son inmunizados contra el COVID-19.
Así lo informo la mañana de este viernes 18 de junio el gremio médico, luego que recibieran una respuesta de parte de la Secretaría Regional de Salud en la que el ente se comprometió para organizar la jornada, pero sin adelantar una fecha.
Omaira Prieto, autoridad única en materia de Salud, pidió el pasado miércoles al gremio el listado digitalizado de los especialistas que aún faltan por vacunar, según el censo que realizó el Colegio de Médicos.
El gobernador Omar Prieto confirmó más temprano la noticia a través de su programa de radio y televisión. “Otra noticia que me dio mi hermana ayer, médicos y colegios de médicos a la vacuna”, indicó el mandatario regional, al tiempo que anunció el arribo a Zulia de 128 mil 340 dosis de vacunas anti-COVID-19.
Con 108 galenos muertos, Zulia encabeza la estadística nacional de médicos fallecidos a causa del virus.
Manifestación
Los médicos recibieron la noticia con alegría, sin embargo, no cesaron su protesta para lograr la vacunación masiva de todo los habitantes del país por que decidieron hacer una protesta con grafitis para exigir la inoculación.
La manifestación se llevó a cabo en las inmediaciones del Colegio de Médicos, en la avenida 16 Guajira de Maracaibo, a donde llegó un grupo de estudiantes para unir fuerzas con los galenos.
