Para este domingo 10 de octubre con miras a desarrollarse el simulacro electoral, el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) tiene listo los centros electorales, con las maquinarias y cotillón electoral, habilitados en cada una de las entidades del país, con el apoyo y resguardo de los efectivos militares del Plan República, publica un trabajo especial de Últimas Noticias.
La máxima autoridad electoral, Pedro Calzadilla, precisó que entre las 7 de la mañana y las 4 de la tarde del domingo estarán funcionando mil 366 mesas electorales en 333 municipios de los 24 estados del país para el simulacro de votación, de cara a las megaelecciones de noviembre.
Esta actividad permitirá poner a prueba las distintas fases del sistema automatizado de votación, así como la duración del recorrido por la herradura electoral y la transmisión de los datos.
Cabe destacar que los núcleos de sufragio fueron desinfectados por funcionarios de Protección Civil (PC), en cumplimiento de las medidas de bioseguridad sanitaria como prevención de la pandemia. El personal del Poder Electoral y los efectivos de Operación Venezuela Soberanía y Paz garantizarán los derechos políticos de la población venezolana durante el simulacro de este domingo.
