El Consejo Nacional Electoral publicó en su página web el instructivo sobre postulaciones paritarias y alternas para las elecciones regionales, con el objetivo de que se cumpla la paridad de hombres y mujeres.
“Las postulaciones aquí señaladas deberán tener una composición paritaria y alterna de 50 por ciento para cada sexo, en aquellos casos que no sea posible aplicar la paridad dicha postulación deberá tener como mínimo el 40 por ciento y como máximo el 60 por ciento por cada sexo. Estas fórmulas aplicar para las postulaciones de los candidatos principales y suplentes, sean postulaciones bajo la modalidad lista y nominal”, manifestó la rectora, Tania D´Amelio.
D’Amelio considera que es importante preservar la participación política de las mujeres en este proceso electoral.
“Para nosotros este proceso se convierte en un proceso obligatorio para la mujer, porque no podemos dejar solamente en la exhortación a las organizaciones políticas, sino que en el momento de la inscripción que no se podrán hacer postulaciones que no cumplan con la paridad de género”, aseveró.
