La consultora jurídica del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), Ana Julia Niño, afirmó que el ente electoral está en la obligación de hacer un llamamiento a quienes incumplan con las nuevas normas de la campaña electoral sean candidatos, funcionarios o portales oficiales de los organismos del Estado.
Señaló que estás medidas son una especie de normativas específicas que no pueden ser consideradas como un reglamento, porque ya el reglamento existe y se mantiene vigente en los procesos de campaña, reseñó Unión Radio.
«Estas normativas son de rango sub-legal, no es una Ley por lo que no se podrían plantear sanciones», indicó.
Niño aseveró que el ente electoral «ya debió haberlo hecho en el proceso de precampaña», lo que considera se debió dar a conocer mucho antes de que se diera inicio a este proceso.
Durante una entrevista con Marypili Hernández para Unión Radio, explicó que en la nueva normativa fueron agregadas dos innovaciones que contemplan el contenido de la propaganda y el registro de cuentas y sitios web.
Destacó que en este caso se busca enunciar el inicio de la campaña, se regulan los tiempos en televisión, propaganda en radio y medios impresos.
