El Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) iniciará su justa interna este lunes 31 de mayo, para seleccionar a los candidatos y candidatas para las elecciones municipales y regionales del próximo 21 de noviembre de 2021, tal como lo ha instruido el presidente Nicolás Maduro, al concluir la discusión sobre el método más adecuado para la elección.
El anuncio fue hecho por el alcalde bolivariano y líder del PSUV en Maracaibo, durante su transmisión En vivo con Willy Casanova del viernes 28 de mayo de 2021, donde detalló que el proceso se realizará respetando los lapsos establecidos por el nuevo Consejo Nacional Electoral y siguiendo los mecanismos de selección contemplados en el Libro Rojo del PSUV.
En este sentido, Casanova recalcó que la democracia interna es un valor fundamental para el partido del que es responsable político municipal. Además, les dio la bienvenida a todos los postulados y les pidió llevar el proceso de la mejor manera posible, priorizando las necesidades reales del pueblo y respondiendo con proyectos, propuestas y estrategias concretas.
“Con seguridad seleccionaremos a los mejores hombres y mujeres para ponerlos al frente”, indicó Casanova en relación a los candidatos para los 23 estados y 365 municipios, además de las asambleas legislativas de los estados y concejos municipales. “Aspiro un proceso sano que le sirva al país”, concluyó.
Arrancó la vacunación anticovid
En la transmisión por sus redes, el alcalde anunció que, con más de 2 mil adultos y adultas mayores inmunizados en la primera jornada, arrancó el Plan Nacional de Vacunación para combatir la pandemia de la COVID-19 en el municipio.
Detalló que el listado de ciudadanos seleccionados como población de riesgo llega desde la plataforma del Carnet de la Patria, y que estos son buscados en sus viviendas y trasladados para recibir la inmunización.
El pasado jueves 27 de mayo, Casanova, en compañía del gobernador de Zulia, Omar Prieto, y el comandante de la Redi Occidental, José Moreno Martínez, visitó la Villa Deportiva del Zulia Arquímedes Herrera, ubicada en la parroquia Chiquinquirá, para inspeccionar la primera etapa de la distribución de la vacuna Sputnik V, que prioriza a la población más vulnerable ante la enfermedad.
Recalcó que se trata de la aplicación intramuscular de la primera dosis de la vacuna, por lo que deben continuar extremándose las medidas de bioseguridad en todos los sectores de la población.
Servicios para el pueblo
Como parte del resumen semanal de las actividades de la Alcaldía Bolivariana de Maracaibo, el alcalde Willy Casanova recalcó el inició del mantenimiento correctivo de la red de gas doméstico del sector Bajo Seco, parroquia Caracciolo Parra Pérez, donde más de 900 viviendas recuperarán el servicio dentro de 4 semanas luego de permanecer siete años desconectadas.
Recordó que el Servicio Autónomo para el Suministro de Gas e Infraestructura (Sagas), en conjunto con PDVSA Gas y las cuadrillas territoriales, pudo iniciar la reconexión de Bajo Seco a partir de la recomposición de la estación de gas en la Curva de Molina, pues a raíz de este se reparó una gran fuga en el barrio Silvestre Manzanilla del sector Panamericano.
Señaló que las obras de gas le traen alegría, pues le permiten entrar a la casa del maracaibero y compartir, fundamentalmente con las jefas del hogar, el momento en el que se les quita de encima el problema de la bombona a miles de familias que perdieron el acceso al servicio por la falta de mantenimiento o que se reciben el servicio por primera vez.
Reiteró el llamado a cuidar este recurso natural no renovable y pidió a las familias apagar las hornillas cuando no se usen para evitar los riesgos y el recalentamiento innecesario para el hogar y facilitar el acceso del servicio a más sectores.
Recordó que este lunes 24 de mayo la Dirección General de Servicios Públicos recibió en los espacios del parque Vereda del Lago, parroquia Santa Lucía, una numerosa dotación de maquinarias y herramientas, donde resaltan vehículos como el camión vacuum y desobstructor, repotenciado junto con el desobstructor donado por Hidrolago, y con insumos para el mantenimiento preventivo de las unidades como cauchos y aceite.
También se hizo entrega de artículos personales como uniformes, calzado, escobas y rastrillos, equipos para la supervisión y herramientas menores y mayores, como una minicompactadora, guadañas y motosierras. Adelantó que la semana próxima se sumarán más camiones, maquinas amarillas, herramientas menores y otros equipos que facilitan darle respuesta al pueblo.
En relación con el servicio de agua potable, señaló que las plantas potabilizadoras Wüimpala y Alonso de Ojeda (Planta C) se continúa combatiendo el enturbiamiento de los ríos, por lo que paulatinamente se mejorará la cantidad de agua suministrada hasta superar la cuota de 4 mil litros por segundo para el fin de semana.
Gestión en acción
El alcalde Casanova también hizo referencia la visita por parte de la Dirección General de Desarrollo Económico a la empresa Genica (General de Alimentos Nisa C.A.), responsable de la producción del queso fundido Dalvito, el Lactovisoy, el Choco Cool y la chicha, mantequilla y leche Campestre, entre otros productos.
Casanova reiteró su compromiso por impulsar las empresas, proteger y multiplicar los puestos de trabajo bien remunerados, elevar la capacidad productiva, frenar la dependencia de la importación y elevar los ingresos municipales que se traducen en más beneficios para el pueblo maracaibero.
Recordó que este miércoles 26 la recuperada Quinta Villa Carmen, parroquia Olegario Villalobos, fue el escenario donde entregó 45 certificados del curso Patrimonio Material e Inmaterial de Maracaibo, impartido por la Dirección de Educación y Asuntos Universitarios a la sexta cohorte de la Academia de Policía de Maracaibo, futuros miembros de la Brigada Policial de Custodia Patrimonial.
