Este quedó identificado como Abel Enrique Arias Gutiérrez (22), apodado El Negrito, quien tenía como modus delictivo, recorrer la comunidad de La Sabana, parroquia Libertad, municipio Machiques de Perijá, estado Zulia, a fin de conocer la rutina de los propietarios de las residencias, ingresaba cuando estos no se encontraban, apoderándose de artículos de valor, con la finalidad de comercializarlos luego.
La detención de (a) el «Negrito», se generó en las adyacencias donde delinquía y quedó a disposición del Ministerio Público.
