Un venezolano resultó detenido tras secuestrar a dos personas de su misma nacionalidad, en la región de Renca, en Chile.
La Fiscalía del Crimen Organizado y Homicidios y la Policía de Investigaciones lograron la captura del presunto secuestrador, quien trasladó a las víctimas hasta una caballeriza en Paine.
Según medios locales, el sujeto quedó en prisión preventiva; mientras la Fiscalí investiga el hecho como un secuestro extorsivo.
Los hechos se registraron el pasado 7 de febrero, cuando delincuentes secuestraron a dos personas en Renca. Posteriormente, llevaron a las víctimas hasta un sector rural de Paine, desde donde exigieron a sus familiares pagar una suma de 50 mil dólares por su liberación. Para ello, contactaron a parientes de los secuestrados en Chile y Venezuela, afirmó el jefe de la BIPE Antisecuestros de la PDI, Claudio Caro.
La situación fue denunciada ante la Fiscalía Centro Norte, la cual ordenó al cuerpo policial iniciar negociaciones con los delincuentes para liberar a los rehenes, detalla 2001.
Tras ello, se consiguió que los captores liberaran a una de las víctimas al día siguiente.
La vocera de la Fiscalía ECOH, abogada María Natalia Soto, indicó que la liberación se realizó “con el compromiso de que se reuniera la suma de dinero requerida”.
Brigada de Investigaciones Policiales Especiales, (BIPE) Antisecuestros, detuvo a dos sujetos que habrían retenido a dos ciudadanos extranjeros con fines extorsivos. Hecho ocurrido en la comuna de #Renca el pasado 7 de febrero.

Sin embargo, la BIPE logró establecer el paradero de la segunda víctima, el viernes 9 de febrero. De este modo, se logró su liberación y se detuvo al venezolano, en el lugar.Caro detalló que se le incautó un arma de fuego 9 milímetros y que los dos rehenes están sanos.
