Efectivos de la Policía científica, adscritos a la Coordinación de Extorsión Maracaibo, ubicaron y capturaron a una pareja de cooperadores de «Catire Masacre», pertenecientes a la organización criminal de Yeico Masacre, que mantiene azotada a la población zuliana.
Los detenidos fueron identificados como Andrés Amaya (24) y Eleidy Bracho (23), quienes se encargaban de canalizar la logística y recopilar información de las posibles víctimas, para ser entregada al líder de dicha organización y usarla como medio de presión en contra de las víctimas y así obligarlos a pagar altas sumas en dólares estadounidenses, obteniendo un porcentaje por lo realizado criminalmente.
Sus detenciones se generaron en el sector tierra negra, calle 67 Cecilio Acosta, parroquia Olegario Villalobos, municipio Maracaibo, estado Zulia, ubicando como evidencias dos celulares, que, al ser sometidos a experticias informáticas, se extrajo información importante sobre los hechos criminales que cometían; por estos crímenes, queda por detener a Erick Alberto Parra Mendoza, apodado «Yeico Masacre», quien presenta alerta roja por la Interpol y Enyerberth Maniel Urdaneta Avendaño, apodado Catire Masacre.
La Fiscalía 48º del ministerio Público del estado Zulia, conoce del caso.
