El cantautor colombiano Camilo ganó tres galardones en la segunda edición de los Monitor Music Awards, que se celebraron anoche en Miami y en la que recibió además un premio especial.
El máximo favorito en la próxima gala de los Latin Grammy, con 10 nominaciones, se llevó los premios a la mejor canción pop en categoría masculina por «Vida de Rico» y mejor canción bachata por su colaboración con El Alfa en «Bebe».
El de Medellín ganó además el galardón a mejor canción cristiana por «Amén», que interpreta con su esposa, Evaluna, su suegro, Ricardo Montaner, y sus cuñados Mau y Ricky.
Sus compatriotas Karol G y J Balvin fueron considerados los mejores artistas del año en las categorías femenina y masculina, respectivamente.
La mejor canción pop femenina fue para «No Bailes Sola», de Danna Paola y Sebastian Yatra, mientras que el mejor tema urbano recayó en Hawai, de Maluma y The Weekend.
En cuanto a sonidos mexicanos, el premio al mejor artista regional fue para Grupo Firme, la mejor canción ranchera fue «El Alumno», de Joss Favela y Jessi Uribe, y el galardón a la mejor canción regional mexicana fue para «Dime como Quieres», de Christian Nodal y Angela Aguilar.
