Basado en la nueva realidad que vive el país y principalmente el estado Zulia, la Cámara Petrolera está organizando para el 4, 5 y 6 de mayo el primer Exposimposio zuliano de energía y petróleo antes conocido como el “show petrolero”.
César David Parra, presidente de la cámara capítulo Zulia, aclara en rueda de prensa que, ante el nuevo contexto ya el país “no está para show” por lo que se tuvo que replantear y “salir de la caja”. Explica que fue así como surgió la idea de esta primera exposición para demostrar con experiencia y con hechos cómo se puede recuperar la industria petrolera.
Señala que se incluye el simposio para que la academia, representada por la Universidad del Zulia (LUZ), la Sociedad de Ingenieros petroleros y el Colegio de Ingenieros, participe en las propuestas pertinentes y “técnicamente factibles” para lograr autonomía energética y el incremento de la producción de barriles de petróleo.
Parra explicó que la Cuenca Occidental de Venezuela cuenta con 21 mil millones de barriles de petróleo es decir, que en el Lago de Maracaibo existe un 52 por ciento de crudo liviano, “el crudo del estado Zulia es el mejor para cualquier propósito, y basado en ello es que estamos sustentando que tenemos capacidad para proponer un exposimposio de esta naturaleza”.
Recordó que el Zulia tiene 10 veces las reservas petroleras del vecino Colombia, el doble de las reservas de México y un 40 por ciento más que Brasil, “esto nos habla que el potencial nuestro es inmensurable”.
El presidente de la Cámara precisó que todas las propuestas tendrán su base en lo tecnológico, porque desde allí se maximiza cualquier rendimiento de producción que llevará a un desarrollo económico.
Recalcó que se debe apuntar a las energías renovables versus las tradicionales, a partir de hidrocarburos. “El petróleo es fuente de energía, pero hoy la energía tiene que ser a partir de renovable”.
El evento se realizará en el Hotel Tibsay en el que estiman albergar más de 100 stand que van desde empresas de tecnologías hasta petroleras con el objetivo que muestren sus capacidades.
Confían que contarán con la participación de una autoridad nacional que explique la visión de negocios que tiene el Estado en el tema energético y petrolero.
“Para nosotros sería un honor que esto logre llegar a la presidencia de la República, creemos que este evento y la región tienen la importancia para lograr la atención de la presidencia o la vicepresidencia de la República, pero esperaremos a que ellos decidan quién será el ponente en esa conferencia”, dijo Para al ser consultado por Foco Informativo de cuál autoridad nacional participaría en el evento.
