El Banco Central de Venezuela anunció este jueves 5 de agosto que a partir del primero de octubre entrará en vigencia una nueva reconversión monetaria.
La medida eliminará seis ceros a la moneda, por lo que todos los montos deberán dividirse entre un millón.
El BCV explicó que esta reconversión busca poner “en rumbo” el Bolívar Digital.
“Para facilitar su uso se está llevando a una escala más sencilla”, asegura el comunicado.
Además, señaló que el bolívar digital y el bolívar físico “convivirán” en un proceso “para rescatar su fortaleza”, detalla Mundo UR.
La entidad financiera indicó que el tipo de cambio de referencia “seguirá siendo el que determine el Sistema de Mercado Cambiario de Venezuela”.
