Barcelona, Real Madrid y Juventus rechazan el expediente abierto por la Uefa

El FC Barcelona, el Real Madrid y el Juventus de Turín manifestaron, este miércoles, “su más absoluto rechazo por la insistente coacción que viene manteniendo la UEFA hacia tres de las mayores instituciones de la historia del fútbol”.

Los tres clubes fundadores de la Superliga europea emitieron un comunicado conjunto contra de la decisión de la UEFA de abrirles un procedimiento disciplinario por una posible violación del marco legal de la institución tras el intento de creación de esta competición, según detalla EFE.

En la citada nota, Barça, Madrid y Juve consideran que la UEFA cometió “un flagrante incumplimiento” de la decisión de los tribunales de justicia, “que ya se han pronunciado claramente advirtiéndole que se abstenga de realizar cualquier actuación contra los clubes fundadores de la Superliga mientras se tramita el procedimiento judicial”.

“Por tanto, la apertura de un expediente disciplinario por parte de UEFA es del todo incomprensible, y atenta directamente contra el Estado de derecho que democráticamente hemos construido los ciudadanos de la Unión Europea”, resumen.

Los tres clubes fundadores de la Superliga subrayan que la competición fue impulsada “con el propósito de mejorar la situación del fútbol europeo, siempre en diálogo permanente con UEFA y con el objetivo de seguir aumentando el interés por este deporte y ofrecer a los aficionados el mejor espectáculo posible”.
