Una avería en una línea de alta tensión en Francia dejó este sábado sin electricidad a cientos de miles de hogares en España y en Portugal, donde el suministro ya fue restablecido.
«Un incidente con un hidroavión ha generado un problema en la red francesa de muy alta tensión provocando la desconexión temporal de la península del resto de Europa», explicó Red Eléctrica de España a través de Twitter.
La compañía añadió que «el problema ya está resuelto quedando repuesta la interconexión y el suministro eléctrico afectado» en España, tras el fallo que se produjo en una línea «de muy alta tensión de 400 mil voltios».
El Ministerio español de Transición Ecológica informó en Twitter que fueron restablecidos «la interconexión con Francia y el suministro eléctrico en los lugares afectados», tras un «trabajo conjunto» entre este departamento, Red Eléctrica de España y compañías distribuidoras, para que el problema fuera resuelto «en menos de una hora».
Los cortes de suministro duraron alrededor de 45 minutos, tiempo en el que muchos hogares en España se quedaron sin luz, principalmente en las regiones de Madrid, Cataluña, Andalucía, que son las más pobladas del país, Aragón, Navarra, País Vasco, Castilla y León, Extremadura y Murcia.
Igualmente, varias zonas de Portugal sufrieron cortes de energía, según informó en E-redes, la rama de la eléctrica lusa EDP responsable de la distribución.
«Por un problema registrado en la red eléctrica europea, la red nacional fue afectada y fue necesario proceder, por indicación de REN (Redes Energéticas Nacionales), a una interrupción del servicio en algunas zonas específicas para garantizar la estabilidad de la red», explicó E-redes en un comunicado.
La compañía precisó que se fue reponiendo progresivamente el servicio, sin detallar el número de hogares afectados por el apagón.
Entre las zonas afectadas que citan medios lusos figuran Lisboa, Sintra, Estoril y Setúbal, en la zona de la capital; Vila Nova de Famalicão, Guimarães y Braga, al norte; y también parte del Algarve, en el sur del país.
