En el corregimiento Puerto Lleras nuevamente el terror y pánico se apoderaron de sus habitantes. El viernes, a las 8:50 de la noche, varios vecinos notaron que en la vía Cúcuta – Puerto Santander, se encontraban los cuerpos sin vida de Franklin Javier Palacios Pérez y Jesús María Uscátegui Lasso, con varias heridas de arma de fuego.
La madre de Franklin Palacios, con un rostro cansado y evidentes rastros de dolor por la pérdida, explicó que se enteró varias horas después del levantamiento de los cuerpos que uno de ellos era su hijo, reseña el diario La Opinión.
“Él tenía 19 años, realmente no sé por qué lo encontraron allá, ese hombre con el que lo encontraron, lo buscaba para ir a trabajar, pero no sé porque acabó así. Ahora estoy muy mal, porque no tengo las capacidades económicas para darle una sepultura digna”, afirmó la madre de Franklin.
Tanto su madre como la víctima, son de procedencia venezolana, y ella señaló, entre la tristeza y el desánimo, que no ha podido llamar a sus familiares cercanos para darles la mala noticia, pues en Venezuela, ellos también están pasando un momento crítico.
“No he llamado a mi mamá o a mi otro hijo. La verdad es que no quiero dar esta noticia, a duras penas he podido sobrellevarla yo, si les digo, será mucho peor. Aun así, lo tengo que hacer en estos días, mientras consigo ayuda para poder enterrarlo”, concluyó entre lágrimas.
No hay garantías de seguridad
Una de las muestras del alcance que tienen los grupos armados ilegales en la zona rural de Cúcuta es que las autoridades, debido a la compleja situación de seguridad, no se trasladaron hasta el lugar.
En su reemplazo, la funeraria Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Aguaclara fue la encargada de levantar los cuerpos y tomar las fotografías de la escena del crimen para que las autoridades adelantaran las investigaciones de rigor.
Allí, encontraron un arma traumática y varias vainillas. En ese corregimiento tienen injerencia el Ejército de Liberación Nacional (Eln) y el Clan del Golfo.
Franklin Javier recibió tres heridas de bala, una en el ojo derecho, otra en el oído derecho y una en la frente. Jesús María tenía una herida en la cabeza, en la parte izquierda del abdomen y en el antebrazo derecho.
De forma preliminar se conoció que Jesús María, trabajaba como obrero de un molino y vivía en el barrio Bellavista del corregimiento.
Algunos habitantes, entre rumores y comentarios, dijeron que, al parecer, integrantes de un grupo armado vieron a ambas víctimas con una moto presuntamente robada y por esa razón los asesinaron.
Sin embargo, las autoridades hasta el momento no han dado declaraciones al respecto, y todavía están haciendo las indagaciones pertinentes para esclarecer tanto los responsables como el motivo de este doble homicidio, perpetrado en la zona rural de Cúcuta.
