Este martes los compañeros de armas del Supervisor Jefe Luis Ángel García Estrada, desde el Panteón del Cuerpo de Policía Bolivariana del estado Zulia (Cpbez) le rindieron homenaje póstumo y dieron el último adiós junto a sus familiares, autoridades policiales y amigos.
Luis Ángel García Estrada murió en el ejercicio de sus funciones durante un accidente de tránsito registrado el día lunes 5 de abril en el municipio Santa Rita de la Costa Oriental del Lago.
Durante el acto realizado en su honor, fue ascendido post mortem al rango de Comisionado del Cpbez donde se desempeñaba como patrullero adscrito al Centro de Coordinación Policial Col Norte con 26 años de servicio ininterrumpido en la institución.
Las exequias estuvieron a cargo del presbítero Manuel Ospino, luego del minuto de silencio la Guardia de Honor Policíal disparó salvas en representación del sentimiento patriótico y en agradecimiento por su labor policial.
Mientras que su esposa y padres recibieron tanto las caponas con el nuevo rango jerárquico como la Bandera Nacional de manos del GB Eliezer Pereira Burgos, Director del Cpbez quien las entregó acompañado del Estado Mayor Policial.
El sentimiento que embarga al Cuerpo Policial en estos momentos por la perdida de un excelente funcionario conmueve en afianzar lazos solidarios entre cada uno de los oficiales que lo integran, en nombre de los hombres y mujeres del Cpbez “No es un adiós, sino un hasta luego COMPAÑERO!
