El gobierno federal de Alemania pidió este sábado (12.02.2022) a sus ciudadanos que abandonen Ucrania, en el contexto de tensiones entre Rusia y Occidente.
«Si se encuentra actualmente en Ucrania, verifique si su presencia es absolutamente necesaria. De lo contrario, abandone el país en el corto plazo«, indicó el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.
Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Dinamarca, Letonia y Estonia, entre otros países, ya habían pedido previamente a sus ciudadanos que dejaran el país.

«Las tensiones entre Rusia y Ucrania siguieron intensificándose en los últimos días debido a la presencia y al movimiento masivo de unidades militares rusas cerca de las fronteras ucranianas», advirtió el ministerio. «No se excluye que haya un conflicto militar», añadió.
Alemania también detalló que cerró «temporalmente» su consulado en Donetsk, en el este de Ucrania.
Este sábado, está prevista una conversación entre el presidente ruso Vladimir Putin y sus homólogos de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, y Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, en un momento en que Washington considera que Rusia puede invadir Ucrania de forma inminente.
