Con un claro criterio de prioridades, Santa Rosa de Agua, en la parroquia Coquivacoa, recibió gratamente las acciones de la Alcaldía de Maracaibo, a través de la Dirección de Desarrollo Social, mediante una mega jornada de alimentos, medicamentos y atención médica, en la que más de dos mil marabinos resultaron beneficiados.
La actividad contó con la presencia del alcalde Rafael Ramírez, así como la primera dama del municipio, Vanessa Linares y miembros del gabinete.
“Santa Rosa de Agua clamaba por atención real, verdadera y acompañamiento. Dentro de los hogares de nuestra gente, hay mucha necesidad y precariedad, y aunque entendemos que estas jornadas no son la solución al problema, son una gran respuesta mientras continuamos trabajando en efectivas medidas que ayuden a cada hogar marabino. Insistimos, atendemos lo urgente sin perder el foco en lo importante, que es brindar soluciones a través del trabajo y el compromiso social”, explicó Ramírez, quien supervisó la jornada antes de continuar con su agenda de sábado.
Sara Fernández, directora de Desarrollo Social, explicó que estas jornadas son solo el comienzo de todas las “buenas noticias” que vienen para la ciudad, y que continuarán haciéndose desde la Alcaldía de Maracaibo en cada una de las 18 parroquias.
“Nuestra visión es trabajar en llegar a más hogares, acompañar a cada una de las familias necesitadas, como ha instruido nuestro alcalde, y ampliar a verdadera atención en las comunidades”.
Las estaciones de atención incluían entrega de alimentos, medicamentos, atención médica, barbería y entretenimiento para los más pequeños de la casa, todo logrado gracias a alianzas con voluntarios que quieren contribuir con la ciudad.
“Queremos escuchar y resolver. Tenemos que estar donde están las necesidades para poder brindar respuestas, y eso se logra estando en la calle, con la gente, en jornadas como esta, pero también todos los días con diferentes acciones”, apuntó Fernández.
