Debido a la emergencia, por la falta de agua, que tienen los sectores San Valentín y el 2 de Febrero en La Parroquia El Rosario de La Villa, el alcalde Ely Ramón Atencio, ordenó un plan de atención a sus pobladores.
«Ante la emergencia que tienen los sectores San Valentín y el 2 de Febrero, por el daño de las bombas de agua, nosotros estamos aplicando un plan de contingencia, dejando claro que estos pozos están en la parte urbana, que corresponde a Hidrolago», aclaró el alcalde.
Sin embargo, ante esta situación crítica que viven estas comunidades, el gobierno municipal está siempre presto a coadyuvar en la solución.
Prueba de esto es la intervención de más de 20 pozos de agua, en los diferentes sectores de La Parroquia El Rosario, durante su gestión de gobierno.
La Alcaldía, en poco más de dos años, ha hecho importantes inversiones en los acueductos de las parroquias Sixto Zambrano y Donaldo García. Léase La Matica, San Juan, San Ignacio, Barranquitas, Saltanejo, Villa Vieja, entre otros.
