En la acostumbrada rueda de prensa semanal, que fue pospuesta para este martes en vista que el alcalde Rafael Ramírez viajó ayer a Caracas para participar en la instalación del Consejo Federal de Gobierno (CFG), el burgomaestre ofreció el resumen del trabajo realizado por su equipo de gobierno durante la semana del 17 al 23 de enero.
Destacó que en la semana que culminó se dio inicio a la nueva frecuencia de recolección residencial y comercial en Maracaibo que calificó de «positiva» para la ciudad y todos los ciudadanos.
Con el tema del COVID-19 hizo un llamado a la colectividad a mantener las normas de bioseguridad y además, pidió a quienes aún no se han vacunado asistir a los diversos centros a aplicarse la vacuna anticovid.
Informó que en los puntos de vacunación de la Alcaldía ya se han inoculado 15 mil 652 personas.
Sobre el CFG
El burgomaestre consideró «muy productiva» la reunión del Consejo Federal de Gobierno en el que aseguró, tanto él como Manuel Rosales, gobernador del estado Zulia, plantearon en Caracas las necesidades de los zulianos y marabinos.
Destacó que logró un contacto con Marco Torres, ministro para la Atención de las Aguas, para atender el «tema de gran importancia» que aqueja a los ciudadanos de la capital zuliana.
Ramírez mencionó al ministro que intentó, sin resultados, reunirse con el máximo representante de Hidrolago para buscar soluciones a la problemática.
También conversó con Néstor Reverol, ministro de Energía Eléctrica, con el que trató el tema de los transformadores.
«Los servicios públicos fueron el tema principal en el Consejo Federal de Gobierno», señaló el Alcalde.
Sobre el combustible
El burgomaestre indicó que en el CFG se conversó el tema de la gasolina dejando claro que si el objetivo es que la economía arranque «se necesita movilidad».
«Entendemos que van a cambiar el esquema y que ellos lo anunciarán, pero desde este lado lo único que pedimos es que haya gasolina», recalcó Ramírez.
