Alcalá: usar el Carnet de la Patria para decidir a quién vacunar viola el derecho a la salud

El presidente de Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) en el estado Zulia, José Luis Alcalá Rhode, rechazó las pretensiones del gobierno de Nicolás Maduro de iniciar un proceso de vacunación a los adultos mayores solo a través del Carnet de la Patria, hecho que a su criterio es una flagrante violación al acceso a la salud por igual que tienen todos los venezolanos contemplados en la Constitución.

“El régimen sigue haciendo de las suyas y se burla de la necesidad de vacunar a las personas ante la elevada ola de contagios que hay en el país y en especial en el Zulia que en las últimas semanas según cifras de ellos mismos superan los dos mil 500 contagios, aunque sabemos que son más casos porque todos los días vemos como personas piden desesperadamente ayuda por las redes sociales para poder cubrir los costos de los medicamentos para sus familiares”, expresó el dirigente político.

Alcalá Rhode acotó que cada día se incrementan el número de decesos en el estado Zulia por COVID-19.

“Solo en el sector salud del Zulia van más de 140 trabajadores entre médicos, técnicos y enfermería que han fallecido por consecuencia de este letal virus y al régimen parece no importarle la población, los voceros rojitos mienten todos los días con esas cifras, creen que van a engañar a las personas dando números que no son reales. El régimen sigue violando el derecho a la salud al pretender usar el carnet de la patria para decidir a quién vacunar o no contra el COVID-19”, manifestó.

El presidente de UNT – Zulia, exigió que se permita el ingreso de las vacunas a través del mecanismo Covax para que se inicie lo más pronto el proceso de inmunización de la población venezolana, ante la creciente curva de contagios que se registran a diario en el país.
