Alberto Fujimori es trasladado de urgencia a una clínica

El expresidente de Perú Alberto Fujimori (1990-2000) fue trasladado durante la noche de este viernes a una clínica de Lima para ser atendido de un descenso de saturación de oxígeno en la sangre, señaló este sábado su abogado, César Nakasaki.

El letrado indicó en Twitter que Fujimori, quien cumple una condena a 25 años de cárcel por crímenes de lesa humanidad, presentó “un serio problema de saturación de oxígeno” que no se logró superar con la atención que recibió en prisión, reseñó EFE.

El congresista Alejandro Aguinaga, quien es médico personal de Fujimori, agregó al diario El Comercio que el exgobernante permanece internado en la clínica porque el problema de saturación “es recurrente” en los últimos meses.

“Se le trasladó anoche a una clínica. Estaba desaturando. Últimamente, hace por lo menos unos cuatro meses, tiene momentos en que le baja mucho la saturación y está prácticamente oxígeno-dependiente al término de la tarde”, detalló.

Aguinaga dijo que los problemas de salud de Fujimori, de 83 años, son atendidos por las enfermeras del penal de Lima en el que cumple su condena, pero cuando el incidente se prolonga, debe ser trasladado a una clínica.

Este mismo viernes, el Gobierno de Perú aprobó presentar a Chile seis pedidos para solicitar la ampliación de su extradición, para que sea procesado por homicidio, lesiones graves, secuestro y delitos de corrupción.

El exmandatario fue detenido en 2005 en Chile y extraditado a Perú en 2007 para que sea procesado por delitos de corrupción y de lesa humanidad, que concluyeron en varias condenas, una de ellas a 25 años de cárcel por las matanzas de Barrios Altos y La Cantuta, cometidas en 1991 y 1992, respectivamente, por el grupo militar encubierto Colina.

Dado que la extradición responde a un mecanismo de cooperación internacional, el país que detiene al investigado tiene que aprobar los casos por los cuales será procesado en el lugar de destino.

En ese sentido, las resoluciones que solicitan la ampliación de la extradición fueron refrendadas por los ministerios de Relaciones Exteriores y Justicia, y comprenden las investigaciones por otros homicidios cometidos por el grupo Colina.

Además, por presunta ejecución extrajudicial durante el rescate, en 1997, de los rehenes que tomó el Movimiento Revolucionario Tupac Amaru (MRTA) en la residencia del embajador japonés en 1997, el secuestro y desaparición de un prófugo de la justicia, así como por delitos de corrupción como asociación ilícita para delinquir y peculado doloso en agravio del Estado peruano.

Las solicitudes de ampliación de la extradición fueron planteadas por el Segundo Juzgado Penal Supraprovincial y cinco juzgados penales especiales de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Lima.
