Al menos tres personas heridas dejó la explosión este domingo de un carro bomba cerca de la estación de Policía de la localidad colombiana de Padilla, en el departamento del Cauca (suroeste), confirmaron fuentes oficiales.
El alcalde de Padilla, Cristóbal Morales, dijo por teléfono que el vehículo explotó a unos 100 metros del puesto de Policía, aunque ninguno de los agentes resultó afectado, y que no se sabe si ese era el objetivo del ataque, reseñó EFE.
Las autoridades nos reportan que fue colocado un explosivo en un vehículo el cual explota cerca de la estación de Policía de Padilla. Afortunadamente no hay muertos. Solo nos reportan tres personas heridas, ninguna de gravedad, detalló.
Las autoridades comenzaron las investigaciones para establecer quiénes son los autores de este atentado que «altera la tranquilidad de la población».

No sabemos quiénes son los que están haciendo esto pero la más afectada es la población, los civiles, la gente que no tiene nada qué ver con situaciones de violencia, agregó el alcalde Morales.
La onda explosiva afectó principalmente las vidrieras de viviendas y edificaciones cercanas al lugar en donde ocurrió la detonación «que naturalmente causó miedo en la gente».
Por su parte, el ministro de Defensa, Diego Molano, dijo en redes sociales que a la zona fueron enviados mandos militares y de policía para «valorar la situación de orden público».
Igualmente, indicó que se desplegaron medidas para proteger a la población y se emprendieron «acciones para capturar a los terroristas responsables».
El Cauca vive hace años una violencia originada en las disputas de distintos grupos armados como disidencias de las FARC, la guerrilla del Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) y carteles mexicanos, que luchan por el control de la tierra para el tráfico de drogas.
El pasado 20 de enero estalló un carro bomba en una zona céntrica de Saravena, en el departamento de Arauca, fronterizo con Venezuela, que dejó un muerto y cinco heridos.
Arauca, otro departamento golpeado por la violencia, está inmerso en una crisis por la guerra que libran el ELN y el Frente Décimo de las disidencias de las antiguas FARC.
La Defensoría del Pueblo dijo que en enero pasado fueron asesinadas 66 personas en Arauca, sobre todo en los municipios de Saravena, Tame, Fortul y Arauquita.
